The Minnesota Agriculture and Rural Leadership Program (MARL) promotes the development of leaders committed to agricultural and rural development, fostering sustainability, innovation, and the strengthening of productive communities at both local and international levels.
International Academic Tour in Ecuador
From February 16 to 28, 2014,an international academic tour was held in Ecuador, tour académico internacional en Ecuador, with participation from members of the MARL Program. The purpose of this activity was to encourage the exchange of knowledge and experiences in agriculture, leadership, and rural development between the two countries.
Interinstitutional Collaboration
The tour was sponsored by the University of Minnesota and the Southwest Minnesota State University,strengthening academic cooperation between higher education institutions and contributing to the international projection of initiatives focused on sustainable agricultural development.
